Jean Rollin’s THE SHIVER OF THE VAMPIRES on 4K

I recently had the incredible pleasure of contributing an audio commentary track for Indicator’s new special edition of Jean Rollin’s 1971 masterpiece, Le Frisson des vampires (The Shiver of the Vampires). Some of you may know that I ran a Rollin blog, Fascination: The Jean Rollin Experience, for over a decade, so it meant a lot to be asked to contribute this track. I meant for the commentary to not only be a historical guide to the film and Rollin’s work but also as a tribute to the many writers who helped resurrect his career starting in the nineties. Here is a full listing of the plethora of special features on this stunning release and it is available now.
