Here’s a bit of fun I stumbled across tonight after watching the (average) Max Pécas 1975 film Club privé pour couples avertis (available as PRIVATE CLUB from 88 Films). I was curious if it ever played anywhere near where I lived in Kentucky as a kid in the seventies and sure enough if did. Not only that but, as you can see from the attached article, it outraged a number of conservative douchebags of the Florence City Council.
The fact that it ruined these guys day (and hopefully year) made me like the film more.
Cool find, but goddamn depressing we are still dealing with the a version of these same assholes to this day.
